Terms of Service

By accessing and using KaTripMo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including free and premium users.

You must be at least 18 years old to use KaTripMo. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. KaTripMo is not intended for use by minors, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to use our services. If we discover that a user is under 18, their access will be terminated immediately.

When using KaTripMo, you agree to conduct yourself in a respectful and responsible manner. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Sending illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful content.
• Sharing sexually explicit material or engaging in sexually explicit conversations without mutual consent in the appropriate mode.
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity with malicious intent.
• Spamming, flooding, or disrupting the chat experience for other users.
• Attempting to collect personal information from other users.
• Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform.
• Attempting to hack, exploit, or otherwise compromise the platform's security.
• Promoting illegal activities or substances.
• Engaging in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.

KaTripMo offers three matching modes, each designed for specific types of interactions:

• Trip-Trip Lang (Casual): For light, casual conversations with no specific expectations.
• Ka-Vibe (Friendship): For users seeking genuine friendships and deeper platonic connections.
• Ka-Puso (Romance): For users open to romantic conversations and potential romantic connections.

You must respect the purpose of each mode and your chat partner's boundaries. Engaging in inappropriate behavior that does not align with the selected mode may result in the termination of your access to the platform.

Ka-Tambay is KaTripMo's anonymous group chat feature. Users can join topic-based rooms (General, Gaming, OPM / Music, K-drama / Anime, Hugot / Kwentuhan, Sports, and more) without creating an account. The following rules apply:

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Ka-Tambay.
• Respect all room participants at all times — no harassment, hate speech, bullying, or targeted abuse.
• No illegal, sexually explicit, harmful, or spam content.
• Stay on-topic for each room's designated subject.
• Do not collect or solicit personal information from other users.
• Do not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with Ka-Tambay.

Vote-Kick System: Room members can vote to remove a disruptive user. A removal requires at least 60% of the room's votes with a minimum of 3 votes. Removed users receive a 1-hour IP ban from Ka-Tambay.

Admin Moderation: Administrators may remove and ban users at their discretion without a vote.

IP bans from Ka-Tambay do not affect access to KaTripMo's 1-on-1 chat feature.

KaTripMo offers optional premium features that provide additional functionality, including gender-based partner filtering. Premium access is available through direct purchase via our Telegram channel. Premium features include:

• Gender preference filtering for chat matching.
• Priority matching in the connection queue.

Premium subscriptions are time-limited and non-refundable once activated. The specific terms of premium purchases are communicated at the time of purchase through our Telegram channel.

All content, design, logos, and features of KaTripMo are the intellectual property of KaTripMo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our platform without explicit written permission.

KaTripMo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of our platform, including but not limited to:

• The availability or uptime of the platform.
• The quality or suitability of matches provided.
• The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information on the platform.
• The behavior, identity, or intentions of other users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KaTripMo and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including but not limited to:

• Interactions with other users, whether online or offline.
• Content shared or received during chat sessions.
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your information.
• Technical issues, interruptions, or errors in the platform.
• Any actions taken by third parties in connection with the platform.

You expressly agree that your use of KaTripMo is at your sole risk, and you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to KaTripMo at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of KaTripMo after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
